Sickness

'Lil D has had a cough on and off for, ahem, a few weeks now. It's mostly in the mornings, similar to a smoker's cough??? Anyways, after being up all night on Monday due to Benadryl having that reaction, and coughing all the while, I decided it was time to go to the doctors. We get our appointment and find out he had a double ear infection and a sinus infection. Well, that matches my sinus infection, Amox cocktails all around! While we were there at the doc's, I asked about getting D his flu shot, since Sean and I both have ours for the year. The doc said that was fine since he'd had no fever. Well, fast forward to a few hours later and today, guess what? Fever! Damn flu shot has given him 101-102 degree fevers. Well, he's on the mend now. I hate that he's not feeling well, though you'd never know it. But, selfishly, I don't know how many more days of just the two of us we'll have, so I'm trying to enjoy the time alone with my "first" boy!
