Not BFF or any bestie for that matter, breast-feeding. How I love to hate this. It's been going okay with the twins, but just okay. Most of the time they are still hungry after nursing and they need a bottle, which means feedings take even longer. The balance is very difficult. Frankly the only time its enjoyable for me is if it's one baby at a time, or middle of the night because it saves me wandering the house making bottles at 3am. All the complaining I have regarding BF, why is it still so hard to stop! I mean, I could try harder to make it work by adding supplements, drinking teas, upping my H2O, but I have a hard enough time remembering to take vitamins, and that it's just on more thing to do. Stopping the BF will not make me less of a mother. They love daddy and he doesn't have boobs. This little rant comes as baby girl is laying me and was nursing, and vomited mid suckle on me. Uh yeah...
TBD on what I'll do...
Side note: if you are a BFing mom, the pediatric wing gives you meals and access to all the snacks and juice boxes you can handle. Another side note: I don't plan on taking advantage of this service again, but it was nice.
