- Sloan graduated middle school last week! The school had a nice ceremony for the 8th graders. Only a few parents pissed us off with air horns. Now we have a high school teenager in the house, eek!
- We are cutting back on the daycare beginning next week. We'll go from full-time to part-time of 3 days a week. This will save around $200/month, and cut back on any days we have to miss because of whatever. This means that 'Lil D will be home with dad more. I'm glad they will have this time with each other, but it opens up whole new avenues off annoyance with me in regards to other things. I'm annoyed that Sean is in this spot in the first place. He never asked to be a SAHD, though I am sure he'll be great at it. I, however, only wanted to stay at home, and guess who will have to get up every morning and grumble her way to work? Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful to have a job, lord knows we need it for the insurance. It's just no where I envisioned any of being if you asked me a year or six months ago. I don't think anyone saw this coming.
- We took a little weekend trip to drop off 'Lil D with his grandparents while Sean, Sloan and I headed back to Tracy for Brie's birthday. Sean elected to try out his new bartending skills on the party, all of which were successful! I think everyone had a great time and were appropriately tipsy! We only got one phone call to confirm Tylenol dosage because of teething issues.
- After 'Lil D's 9 month appointment a few weeks ago, we had a ton of changes; he began crawling, sprouting another tooth, pulling himself up to standing on EVERYthing! All this makes for very exciting times, we just need to diligently begin baby proofing like mad!
I know there is a ton of other things I am leaving out, but that's all I have time for...I really need to start working!
